Everything you need to know about working with Precious Pics. Can't find your answer? Reach out and we'll help.

General

What is the White Glove concierge?

Every booking is paired with a dedicated White Glove concierge who plans your timeline, coordinates every creative, scouts your venue, and stays with you from first inquiry through final gallery delivery. One point of contact for everything.

How far in advance should we book?

We recommend booking at least 4 to 8 weeks in advance, though we can accommodate shorter timelines. Peak season (May through October) fills up faster, earlier booking gives you the best team selection. All event details must be finalized with us no later than two weeks before your event date.

What makes Precious Pics different?

Since 2009, we've built local creative teams in every region we serve. Every booking includes a dedicated White-Glove concierge and a qualified-backup policy for every scheduled creative, consistent service across every wedding.

Which areas do you serve?

We have teams in DC & DMV Metro, NY Tri-State (NY, NJ, PA & CT), Boston & New England, Seattle & Pacific Northwest, Miami & South Florida, Colorado, and Texas. We also cover destination weddings in Mexico and the Caribbean, and specialize in South Asian, Jewish, and Islamic ceremonies.

Do you photograph engagement sessions?

Yes. An engagement session is included with the Photography package. For Videography and Collections packages, engagement sessions can be added as an optional service, ask your concierge during consultation.

Do you have experience with cultural ceremonies?

Absolutely. We have deep experience with South Asian ceremonies (mehndi, sangeet, baraat, pheras), Jewish traditions (bedeken, chuppah, hora), Islamic weddings (nikah, walima), and many other cultural celebrations. Our teams know the rituals, the shot list, and the pace.

Packages

What is included in every package?

Every package includes a dedicated White Glove concierge, unlimited locations, digital download of all files, and no travel fees within your metro area.

What is the difference between Photography and Videography packages?

Photography (from $1,299) provides a lead photographer with 2-3 HD cameras, unlimited edited photos, and an included engagement session. Videography (from $1,499) provides a lead videographer with multi-camera coverage in both horizontal and vertical formats, plus a cinematic highlight reel. Collections (from $1,999) combines both with 1-2 photographers, 1-2 videographers, 4-5 HD cameras on site, and RAW footage included.

Can I customize a package or add services?

Yes. Each package is a starting point. You can add extra hours (booked in advance at $349 per operator per hour, or on event day at $399 per operator per hour in full-hour increments), additional photographers or videographers, drone or aerial coverage, deep retouching, and more. Your concierge walks you through all options during consultation.

Why is Collections the most popular package?

Collections gives you both photography and videography with 1-2 photographers, 1-2 videographers, 4-5 HD cameras on site, and RAW footage included, all starting at $1,999. Over 55% of our couples choose it because it covers both mediums in one booking.

Legal & Payments

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Zelle (no processing fee), ACH bank transfers (no processing fee), and all major credit and debit cards (processing fee applies). You receive a receipt for every transaction. Late payments are subject to an administrative fee per our Terms of Service.

How much is the deposit to book?

A 50% deposit (non-refundable) secures your wedding date and executes the Terms of Service. Any remaining balance must be paid no less than 10 days before your event.

What is your cancellation policy?

The 50% first payment is non-refundable for any cancellation. For cancellations made less than 14 days before your event, the remaining balance is also non-refundable. Postponements may transfer your deposit to a new date (subject to our availability) when you pay the contingency-date fee; you must re-book within 365 days of the original event date to preserve your payment. Canceling one service (e.g., photography but not videography) or substituting the event for a different occasion is treated as a full cancellation. Full terms are in our Service Agreement.

Coverage & Delivery

How many photos will we receive and when?

You receive unlimited professionally edited photos from your coverage. Edited photos are delivered within 14 to 30 days, and edited films within 4 to 6 weeks. Both timelines start from your wedding day or the day we receive your music and pre-edit form, whichever is later. Galleries are hosted online and available for download for 6 months from delivery, download promptly and keep your own backup.

Do we get RAW footage?

RAW footage is included with the Collections package. For Photography and Videography packages, RAW files can be purchased separately. RAW is delivered via email download link within 6 weeks of your event, and you must download within 15 days of receiving the link. We retain RAW footage for up to 6 months after your event date.

What video deliverables do we receive?

Videography and Collections packages include a cinematic highlight reel plus full ceremony coverage in both horizontal and vertical formats, optimized for sharing on Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.

Can we request edits or revisions?

Yes. After the initial edit is delivered, you may request one round of up to fifteen simple edits or revisions within 15 days, this courtesy round does not include music changes. Additional or discretionary revisions beyond that are quoted at standard hourly rates. Per-image retouching is available at $25 per image.

Can we select our photographer or videographer?

Yes. Once you share style references and inspiration, we match you to creatives whose work fits your vision. You can review portfolios before confirming your team. We offer professional guidance so the final deliverable matches what you had in mind.

Planning & Day-Of

What happens if it rains on our wedding day?

We always plan for weather, your concierge identifies covered alternatives for outdoor portraits and ceremonies during planning. Timeline shifts within your contracted coverage hours are accommodated at no additional cost. If conditions become unsafe for our operators or equipment (extreme weather, hazardous locations), we reserve the right to pause coverage until it is safe to resume. Coverage beyond your original booking hours is billed at standard rates.

Have you worked at our venue before?

Most likely, yes. Share your venue name and we'll send venue-specific portfolio samples, or samples from comparable spaces nearby. Chances are someone on our team has been inside the room.

What happens if a team member cannot attend?

If a scheduled team member cannot attend due to emergency, we make every reasonable attempt to secure a qualified backup at short notice. In the rare case we are unable to replace them, you receive a full refund of all sums paid.

Do you help plan the wedding day timeline?

Yes. Your White Glove concierge builds a detailed timeline that accounts for lighting, travel between locations, vendor coordination, and ceremony flow. We finalize the definitive production plan with you no later than two weeks before your event, we cannot guarantee coverage of specific details that have not been confirmed in that plan.

Do we need to provide meals and parking for your team?

Yes. For each 6-hour block of coverage, please provide one hot meal (or the equivalent of your guests' meal) per operator. You are also responsible for arranging parking near every coverage location; please share parking details at least 5 days before the event. If meals or parking cannot be arranged, we will invoice the operator's out-of-pocket expenses.

Can you use copyrighted music in our video?

You are responsible for securing any licenses or permissions for copyrighted music used in your video edits. We cannot license third-party music on your behalf. Your concierge can suggest royalty-free alternatives that work beautifully for highlight films and social cuts.

Can we hire another photographer or videographer for our day?

No. We are the exclusive professional photography and videography provider for your event. Family and friends are welcome to take pictures as long as they do not interfere with our operators or shoot poses we have arranged. Third-party content creators (planner's documentation staff, social media creators, etc.) are subject to the same rules and must not impede our coverage.
