Boston gets three distinct seasons: spring cherry blossoms on Boston Common and the Esplanade (peak 2-3 weeks in May), summer with reliable evening light until past 8 p.m., and fall foliage (Oct) in the surrounding areas. Winter ceremonies demand careful scouting for indoor light, the Peabody Museum and grand historic halls work; exposed venues do not.
Cape Cod light is its own thing: morning fog over cranberry bogs, afternoon beach light that bounces off sand and water, and evening golden hour that lasts because the water extends the daylight horizon. Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket add coastal elegance and island logistics, ferry schedules matter, and the season is short (May-Oct).
